We support you in your own language wherever we can — the portal itself works in English, Polish, Romanian, Urdu, Punjabi, Lithuanian and Bulgarian (LanguageSense™).

Common questions

"My access token stopped working." Tokens last about 4 hours. Go back to step 1, reconnect with your Government Gateway login, and a fresh token appears.
"Who actually submits my figures?" You do. This software prepares everything, but nothing goes to HMRC until you review your figures and press submit yourself.
"I can't sign in to Government Gateway." Your Government Gateway account is between you and HMRC — we never see your password. Use GOV.UK's "problems signing in" recovery, or contact us and we'll point you to the right steps.
"Can I undo my final declaration?" The final declaration is the binding year-end step. If something is wrong after submitting, contact us straight away — corrections go through an amendment process.
"What do you send to HMRC?" See Privacy & what we send to HMRC.

Report a security risk or incident

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in this software, or you think your data or HMRC connection may have been compromised, email automation@smartscanitgroup.co.uk with "SECURITY" in the subject line, or call 07427 408650. Security reports are treated as our highest priority — we aim to acknowledge them the same working day. Please do not publish details of a suspected vulnerability before contacting us.
